Donations
As an entirely non-profit volunteer-run organization, we are grateful for any charitable donations. Your donation is tax deductible and goes directly to helping animals in our care (the majority of contributions go to cover the medical expenses of our animals). Your donation means a great deal to our organization, but even more to the homeless animals that depend on us.
Please see the list below for all the different ways to help contribute to the animals of Two Left Paws.
Monetary donations are always appreciated and needed.
Blaise Fund
Two Left Paws was lucky enough to set up a medical emergency fund - the Blaise Fund. This fund was made possible because of the generosity of Russ and Mary Tooley. In honor of Blaise, a cat the Tooley’s had for many years, Two Left Paws thought it only fitting that our emergency medical fund be named after Blaise. We have already been able to help numerous animals that have the unfortunate need for emergency care. If you would like to contribute to the Blaise Fund please note on the donation that you would like it designated to the Blaise Fund!
Sammie’s Second Chance Fund
This fund was started by Kathy Scherer. Sammie was the beloved dog of Jean and Mark Zemke, Kathy’s sister & brother-in-law. If you asked Sammie who’s dog he was, he might say "everybody’s" as he truely was a friend to all. He lent his healing friendship and compassion to anyone who needed it and seemed to have a special ability to understand humans. He had just started his career as a therapy dog, at the tender age of 7, when he tragically and suddenly died while playing fetch with his favorite human, Mark. Sammie had an enlarged heart and faulty mitral valve the family didn’t know about. Sammie’s family was heartbroken and thought that establishing a fund to help other animals like Sammie would be a wonderful tribute to his memory. If you would like to contribute to Sammie’s Second Chance Fund please note on the donation that you would like it designated to the Sammy’s Second Chance Fund!
Amelia Fund
TLPAS established this fund for our fosters who have special needs that may keep them from being adopted. Amelia’s foster mom welcomes her "for as long as it takes". Amelia needs a special someone/family that will provide her with the medical attention she requires to live a happy life. TLPAS lives by the words, "Respect all life. Every creature should be given a chance to live." This fund will support the long-term foster care of these special animals. If you would like to contribute to Amelia’s Fund please note on the donation that you would like it designated to the Amelia Fund!
